The scalp was treated with a cream with cade oil, a derivative of the juniper tree. This application and treatment softened the scale enabling it to be removed easily.
Followed by the ‘juniper medicated shampoo’ which stops the scale from building so quickly, this is referred to as an anti-mitotic in technical terms, and a finishing shampoo, ‘antistat’ acting as an antiseptic on the scalp and very conditioning to the hair, as can be seen by the shine.
